First Day of Western Civilization

Today was my first day of western civilization with Mr. Shick. He seems like a pretty cool guy and I'm exited to see what his class is like. I already have a lot of friends I know prior to the class and i'll most likely make more once i'm done. I like what he asks us to do throughout the course because I think it will allow me to perform better on assessments. I like taking notes although sometimes it's difficult to read my own handwriting. I like the way his room is set up though and it definitely brings life to it. I already know a little bit about Mesopotamia prior to this course, but i'm wondering what other thing there is to know about the small country. I'm exited to spend the rest of my freshman year in Western Civ and very exited for the opportunities ahead!
