Today in Western Civ we learned:
-They invented their hieroglyphics in 3100 B.C and wrote it on a material called papyrus
- The Early Egyptian astronomers figured out a 12 month 365 day year round calendar
- Created potions and cures for seasonal allergies to pollen and such
- Main invention of the era was a sailboat that could travel upstream
- Cattracks were the only thing strong enough to keep the sailboat from traveling up the current
