Today in class we learned:
- Egypt was split into upper and lower Egypt.
- Upper Egypt was a 500 mile long strip of fertile land along the Nile River
- Nile river is the only river whos current goes from south to north
- Lower Egypt was the wide land of the nile delta
-Had amazing fertile soil and was emptying into the Mediterranean Sea for more animal opportunities
- In 3100 B.C the two landforms were brought together by a pharaoh
- The way they portrayed gods was humans with animals heads or animal bodys with human heads, to try to make humans have perfectness
- Egyptians were mummified so they can preserve their body into the after life
- In case they needed them, had all of their body parts removed from body and kept together for ascent into heaven
