1) Describe the kinds of dramas that were performed in the theaters of ancient Greece.
They used to perform tragedies. Tragedies were stories that usually had Romance, but ended in the death of one of the main characters. Another Version of it was comedy. It was usually another love story, but with comic relief and a happy ending.


  b. OR… Describe the similarities between an ancient Greek production and a film you have seen recently. The Greek production – and the film – can be either a comedy or a tragedy.
I've been watching this show called heros. It's about a bunch of teenagers/ young adults who have been gifted with powers. I would say it's a tragedy because it has a lot of character deaths but also romance like the old greek plays.

  3) Find an online image of a theater from ancient Greece, post it to your blog, and describe it in a few sentences.

This looks like it has seats for people to sit and watch the show. It seems like the performers did their act from higher up.

  1. If you dig a little deeper, you will come up with a more thorough answer, you will learn a little more, and you will get a higher score! For example, the textbook had more information about comedies and tragedies, and the stage was at the lowest part of a Greek theater.
