Covid 19 letter

Dear Kyle in the Future Everyday when you wake up, count your blessings. One day you might wake up and get them all taken away from you. Which is exactly what happened in the global pandemic of Covid-19. At first it was just a rumor that we would all be going to cyberschool and missing a couple weeks. It sounded like a dream. It quickly turned into a nightmare. You didn't get to see your friends for 3 months and counting. You missed out on your whole freshman baseball season. You missed out on your hershey park trip. You missed making tons of memories just because of ignorant people who refuse to stay inside. You had to watch your friends get to hang out with each other but were stuck in your house. While you were able to get closer with your family, you got sick of them very quickly. Right now you dont know how much longer this is going to last. Anyway, be greatful, and always appreaciate your family. Also, you lost a friend during quarantine. He didn't pass away, he just d...
Romes Downfall Rome has one of the most historic empires in history. But unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, and for Rome, they did not have a happy ending. One of the things that caused rome's downfall was how often they were raided by other tribes. For example, one of the tribes that often raided them were different barbarian tribes. Since they had a strong military and rome could not match them, they found themself getting raided quite a bit. Another issue that Rome had was they were financially unstable. Due to this in important times they couldn't fund their people which also caused a downfall   Lastly one more thing that took down Rome was undivided as a culture. They started not only to split apart in religious beliefs but started to lose faithfulness completely. All of these contributed to Romes downfall. Even though it will be remebered as a good empire, it de...

The 12 tables were not a constitution, but a compalation of laws. Silly laws like death for hateful singing. Constantly got stuff added to it and there were 3 assemblies. Plebian assembly, centuriate assembly, and tribal assembly. There people would gather and make new laws and discuss banning old ones. 4 urban tribes, 31 rural tribes. Roman law as broken into preamble, main text, and sanctio.

My essay question would be, "Who was Alexander the Great and what did he accomplish." My first paragraph would be an introduction to the character and when he was born, where he is from etc. Then, I would list out everywhere he conquered. Then I would write about his impact to greek history and how it changed them for better or worse. Then, I would talk about his death and what was next for greece.

One example of a significant greek artifact is the parthenon. The Parthenon was a temple in athens. It was dedicated to the greek goddess athena.   Construction began in 447 BC when the Athenian Empire was at the peak of its power. The Temple of Apollo  was another example of a very powerful greek god. Because of this, he got a temple named after him. I feel as though it would be a place of festivities since he was the god of musicians.

1) Describe the kinds of dramas that were performed in the theaters of ancient Greece. They used to perform tragedies. Tragedies were stories that usually had Romance, but ended in the death of one of the main characters. Another Version of it was comedy. It was usually another love story, but with comic relief and a happy ending.   b. OR… Describe the similarities between an ancient Greek production and a film you have seen recently. The Greek production – and the film – can be either a comedy or a tragedy. I've been watching this show called heros. It's about a bunch of teenagers/ young adults who have been gifted with powers. I would say it's a tragedy because it has a lot of character deaths but also romance like the old greek plays.   3) Find an online image of a theater from ancient Greece, post it to your blog, and describe it in a few sentences.   This looks like it has seats for people to sit and watch the show.
